AUSTRALIAN SILKY TERRIERS

We believe that the Silky is the ideal dog for inside  living.  They are the perfect size, not too small or delicate and not large or clumbersome.  Because the hair on a silky in like our own, and keeps growing they do not shed their hair through the house and on the furniture like many other small dogs. The silky is outgoing and loves families children and older people. They are very intelligent,easily trained and non-destructive in the house. The Silky is a breed that can easily suit any lifesyle, if you choose the coat can be clipped or scissored to only a few inches to give a neat practical dog. Or if you desire the coat can be allowed to grow to a much longer length if you have the time to groom more regularly. Either way, the Silky is a beautiful, attractive Australian breed which has proved its great popularity both here in Australia and throughout the USA and Europe.
